Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) is a leading “through-train” International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Aberdeen, Hong Kong serving over 1,800 local and expatriate students. Founded as a non-profit organisation in 1991, CDNIS is one of the city’s most well-known and well-respected international schools, also recognized as one of the leading schools in Asia. Hands on Learning is an important aspect of The Harbour School. Children Learn Science are performing experiments, and children learning History are role playing the challenges of earlier times rather than just reading about them. Children at The Harbour School are learning the art of respectful debate so that they feel safe and valued when exposing new ideas while thoughtfully considering the ideas of others. They also have strong exposure to alternative types of expression including creative writing, drama, dance, music, and visual arts.
Special Education School of the Year – The Jockey Club Hong Chi School
The school is operating under Hong Chi Association. It was established in September 1981. The school is a special school providing education services to children with moderate intellectual disability at the age of 6 to 18. Students are allocated to groups according to age and learning ability. The vision of the school is “Be committed to providing quality special education services, so that each graduate can be self-reliant, independent and confident in transition to adult life”.
