1. Could you tell me a bit about yourself and your background?
My name is Alina. I’m from Ukraine and 6 years ago I came to Hong Kong for work.
I have a legal and business development background however I always wanted to create something that inspires me and brings more beauty and pleasure to my life and the world. So I connected my interests with my love for beauty, nature, femininity, embroidered details and I started to create women’s eco-clothing.
2. Tell us more about your fashion business?
My business is about a combination of beauty, comfort and sustainability. I create natural clothing which helps women to feel herself feminine and light, to take pleasure and to bloom. Dresses that I create are with embroidered details which make them more exceptional.
Our clothing, LILY. wear&bloom is handmade in Ukraine from 100 % pure linen that meets demands towards ecological safety.
We made the order individually according to the client’s personal measurements. I feel the importance of individual approach as well as taking care of nature and conscious consumption. We make only what we need and no more.
3. Any advice for those who want to start a fashion business?
I think it’s important to do what truly reflects yourself, your interests and beliefs. This is beyond the trends.
4. How do you make yourself happy and ritzy in life?
I follow my heart and do the things what I like to do, discovering myself and the world🌍.
