Metro Workspace expands with two new units in Wong Chuk Hang and Yuen Long

by Ella

Part of the Metropolitan Lifestyle Group launched in 2010, Metro Workspace is a series of coworking spaces catering to freelancers, entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized companies and corporates. With eight locations across the city, it believes that Hong Kong is one of the best places for starting, building and growing businesses.

Metro Workspace emphasises affordability, flexibility, mobility and diversity. It is a licensed TCSP provider and a landlord operator – that is, its parent group Star Properties is a listed company, so all of its spaces are privately owned to ensure lease stability to its clients.

Situated in prime business districts in Hong Kong, Metro Workspace locations are designed and themed uniquely. For example, Wan Chai follows a beach style whilst Central follows a Spanish style.

Recently, the group launched two new units – one in Wong Chuk Hang “The Urban Woods” and one in Yuen Long “Do You Remember Me”.

The Urban Woods

A 10,543 square foot warehouse-style flexible working space in Wong Chuk Hang, The Urban Woods consists of private offices, hot desks, and dedicated desk options for business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as a dedicated event space, seminar room for 50 guests and full meeting room facilities.

Paying homage to the industrial heritage of the neighbourhood, The Urban Woods takes on a design that features high ceilings, steel accents, open spaces, and bright, airy offices. As its name suggests, it is fully fitted out with a wood-themed layout.

Easily accessible, the coworking space is situated directly across from Wong Chuk Hang MTR Station and just 14 minutes away from Admiralty.

Perhaps best of all, The Urban Woods is pet-friendly – so feel free to bring your furry friend along.

Do You Remember Me

Serving as an extension unit to the pre-existing Yuen Long coworking space, “Do You Remember Me” features traditional Hong Kong scenes, highlighting classic Hong Kong art culture and the perseverance of Hong Kong people back in the old days.

Iconic green letterboxes, red wet market lamps, framed photos of the city’s past and an industrial-style brick wall are some of the unique features of this location. It also includes a balcony and a rooftop garden for outdoor events and gatherings.
