Continuing on the success from 2021, the Gingerbread for Good campaign is BACK on the 24th November 2022 at LANDMARK.  In partnership with LANDMARK, the twenty-two celebrity chefs, who have all created their own take on a Mrs. Claus cookies and Cookie Smiles; the Gingerbread for Good campaign will create a meaningful, society wide movement that inspires collaboration and encourages community engagement.

The pop-up aims to fundraise at least HKD$ 600,000 for Cookie Smiles’ two beneficiaries, Box of Hope and Vocational Training Council’s Shine Skills Centre. The latter one which has long been supported by Cookie Smiles’ Shining Star Programme, a Trial Work Placement Scheme (Internship) programme for students of the Shine Skills Centre aimed at providing real-life working exposure for students with disabilities and prepare them for open employment. Cookie Smile co-founder Jo Soo-Tang has been supporting Box of Hope for over 12 years with her three children.

#FindYourPerfectCookieMate Gingerbread For Good 2022 will run from the 24th of November to the 1st of January 2023 at Shop 350, 3/F, LANDMARK ATRIUM, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Central, Hong Kong, with a range of unique gingerbread cookies created by the following celebrity chefs and culinary experts and supported by our Shining Star Ambassador – Chef Richard Ekkebus from Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental.

“This is our second opportunity to do good in Central and I feel extremely blessed to have support from both LANDMARK and Chefs from all over the F&B sector, to not only work together but also to make a difference in people’s lives. Cookie Smiles has already placed close to 50 students within a 6-month timeframe and through the Gingerbread for Good campaign, we hope to grant more opportunities to students with disabilities.” said Jo Soo-Tang, Co-Founder, Cookie Smiles

Since its launch in June 2020, Cookie Smiles has put its own unique stamp on the fundraising map of Hong Kong despite a global pandemic. Using its philosophy of doing good through “the greatest comfort food on earth”, the nimble enterprise co-founded by Agnes Chin and Jo Soo-Tang has raised an impressive HKD$ 500,000 since its inception – all through the sale of the humble cookie. Just in December 2021 alone, the successful launch of the Gingerbread for Good at JOYCE campaign – a collaboration with a star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs and luxury fashion boutique JOYCE – sold over 1500 gingerbread cookies to the tune of more than HKD$ 400,000.
