This Christmas, U PLACE presents the “Merry Bubble Land” Christmas Fair from 30 November 2022 to 2 January 2023. Citywalk
To raise awareness of the severity of climate change and galvanise public support for ocean conservation, Citywalk will be organising the “Merry Christmas! Goodbye Plastic!” campaign from 25 November 2022 to 2 January 2023. Adopting polar glaciers as the backdrop, the campaign will engage mallgoers with educational games and inspiring experiences that blend fun with meaningful messages about environmental protection. Key elements include adorable penguin installations, three game zones, two photo spots, an exhibition on penguins and a recycling education centre. To let children better understand the predicament facing penguins, they will have the opportunity to wear penguin costumes and glide down an eight-metre-long glacier slide with plastic “waves”, challenge ice fishing and take a walk on floating ice.
MTR Malls
Celebrate this Christmas in the wonderland filled with local toys together with homegrown figures, cartoon characters and manga superheroes in various Yuletide scenes! Joining hands with the Hong Kong Brand Toy Association (HKBTA) for the first time, MTR Malls show its continuous support to local creative labels by tapping the original branded toys from HKBTA members, alongside hot playthings from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Warner Bros. and Paramount Global, as well as classic Japanese robots and supermen to throw a Christmas party for kids and kidults to take snaps and have fun! This Christmas, Harbour City turns the Ocean Terminal Forecourt into “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Paradise” under the theme of “UniChristmas” from 17 Nov 2022 – 2 Jan 2023. We invite 4 unicorns with unique characteristics (Dreamy Bubble, representing dreams; Harmony Ocean, representing harmony; Jolly Trinity, representing happiness; and Twinkle Skylar, representing treasures) and their friends to Harbour City from the land of fairytales. They join the party at this paradise with friends together and send their representing Christmas blessings to everyone. The unicorn Jolly Trinity greets visitors at the front entrance of the park as you enter the fairyland from the 10-meter-tall iridescent Christmas tree. You will find a total of 18 unicorns wandering between 6 sets of specially designed “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round” and over 40 iridescent and glittering Christmas trees in different sizes. You can also access the Charity Photography Zone by donation to enjoy the Christmas lights with your beloved one from the best angle. The biggest installation in this paradise Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Palace is located at Ocean Terminal Main Entrance Staircase. The palace consists of more than 10 Christmas trees hanging in the air and placed on both sides of the ladder of dreams with hundreds of sparkling stars under the ceiling. Everyone can indulge in the shimmering fantasy fairyland together with the unicorns.
