Mira Dining

In April, Mira Dining and The Mira Hong Kong will launch its highly anticipated inaugural Gourmet Month in celebration of Anniversary of Miramar Group, featuring a carefully curated selection of culinary delights from each of their restaurants. On April 21st and 22nd , three young chefs from Hong Kong and Tokyo will join hands at WHISK and Chinesology to curate a gastronomic journey that bridges together four major cuisines – Italian, Chinese, French, and Japanese. The impressive lineup includes Chef Taku Tabuchi (Creative Italian cuisine) from S’accapau in Tokyo, Chef William Lau (French-Japanese cuisine) from WHISK, and Chef Saito Chau (Modern Chinese cuisine) from Chinesology. This exceptional collaboration promises to showcase remarkable creativity and craftsmanship to food enthusiasts, delivering a culinary experience without borders.


 

La Paloma

Hong Kong’s nightlife is making a comeback, and the city’s most dedicated cocktail aficionados are thirsty for refreshing new bar experiences. Located in the heart of Sai Ying Pun, La Paloma’s newest ‘El Bar’ offers a revitalised experience that evokes the lively atmosphere of Barcelona’s famed beachside, “Chiringuito”. With a new facelift, La Paloma’s revived bar, subtly sectioned away from the main dining room, promises an authentic Spanish-style drinking experience for all to enjoy.


Kiyoka

 Kiyoka, the Japanese-French pastry shop dreamed up by Kyoto- born chef pâtissière Asuka Matsubara, unveils a new pastry collection inspired by Japan’s magical season of cherry blossoms. Characterized by blooming shades of white and pink that start from the southwestern island of Kyushu to the northernmost region of Hokkaido, Japan’s sakura are known around the world for their delicate and transient beauty. Adding to their mystique, sakura are usually in full bloom for only a
week before the petals float gracefully to the ground.


agnès b. CAFÉ

Symbolic of hope and rebirth, Easter is surely a time for happy celebration. In a classically French manner, agnès b. spotlights on the Easter bunny this holiday with a plethora of agnès b. AMMO

AMMO has partnered with Japanese Additive-free Skincare Brand HABA to present an exclusive afternoon tea set. The “Glow-in Rose” Afternoon Tea launches on March 1st and is available until April 30th 2023, priced at HK$438* for two. AMMO’s Executive Chef Fung have curated a delectable array of Japanese-inspired savoury and sweet treats. Chilled Tofu with Sea Urchin and Beef Tataki, Maguro & Avocado Salad with Rice Cracker, Plum Wine Fruit Tomato and Sakura Shrimp Croquette make up the bottom tier of the tea set. The sweet options on the top tier include Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, Fruit Sando, Sakura Blossom Jelly & Vanilla Panna Cotta, Strawberry Crepe Roll Cake, and the afternoon tea classic; Scones with Clotted Cream &Strawberry Rose Jam are not to be missed. Diners can also enjoy AMMO’s Signature cocktail “Spy Rose” or a glass of Rose Latte for a refreshing end to the afternoon tea.


 Cucina 

Easter is just around the corner. Cucina invites all guests to enjoy the Easter break by indulging in a wide range of festive gastronomic delights and decadent desserts. Boasting spectacular views of Victoria Harbour, Cucina is the perfect place for guests to enjoy their Easter celebrations. A classic Italian brunch will be served over the long weekend and will feature an array of antipasti, including CharcuterieCheesesFreshly Shucked Oysters and Chilled Seafood. Guests can choose from a selection of mouth-watering main dishes prepared by Italian Chef de Cuisine Andrea Delzanno. Options include Green Asparagus, Parmesan Cheese Sauce, Scrambled Egg, Black TruffleRisotto with Mixed Seafood, Sea Urchin Sauce, Zucchini, Caviar; and Traditional Easter Roasted Lamb Leg with Garlic, Rosemary Potatoes. Chef Andrea’s Mini Duck Confit Burger will also be served to every table, while an Artisan Pasta will be prepared at the live cooking counter.


 Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong

Crown Super Deluxe

Lavish teppanyaki, Crown Super Deluxe, welcomes guests in for an opulent dining experience which melds a dash of Rocky Aoki’s American Dream with all the refinement of a Kobe teppanyaki. Stepping into the main dining room is a trip back in time to teppanyakis’ heyday when opulence and comfort were king. With three teppans and golden onyx counters paired with mustard velvet mid-century inspired armchairs complemented by a playlist that seamlessly transitions from experimental jazz to iconic porn groove and chilled funk classics, Crown Super Deluxe sets the stage for a lavish, extravagant experience while keeping the energy lively and upbeat. Guests can expect to dine on all the teppanyaki classics but with a focus on beef and luxurious seasonal seafood items. Displaying the best grain-fed steaks from USDA Prime, to Australian Wagyu and a premium selection from small Japanese farmers specializing in well-marbled cuts of beef. While à la carte options are available, the best way to experience teppanyaki is to select one of the three curated menus: Crown ($888), Super ($1,388) or Deluxe ($1,488).

Lobby Lounge at Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel proudly presents a new ‘Marvellous Mussels’ menu for guests to enjoy. Chef Jeff Lo selects the finest blue mussels from Australia and celebrates the delicious molluscs with four different cooking styles. To best present the mussels’ fresh and natural ocean flavours, the Traditional style delivers a classic take on the bivalves, steaming them with white wine, cream, vegetables and herbs. Meanwhile, guests who like bold and spicy Southeast Asian flavours should opt for the Laksa style mussels cooked in an aromatic curry stock with coconut cream and kaffir lime leaves.


Dada Bar + Lounge 

The iconic Hong Kong Art Month is finally here in the city! Not only the well-known Art Basel and Art Central are on the to-go list for March, Dada Bar + Lounge (Dada), the bar at The Luxe Manor is presenting a series of “The Mystery of the Subconsciousness” themed surreal cocktails, snacks, as well as a series of exciting art activities, including the sharing session of Mr. Victor Wong, an award-winning visual effects director and cross-media artist, and Mr Ho Cheuk-Tin, the movie director of The Sparring Partner and Over My Dead Body, etc., allowing guests to immerse themselves in an artistic atmosphere. As you enter Dada Bar + Lounge, which is inspired by Dadaism, every corner of it is created in a unique and artistic style, making guests feel like entering another artistic world and starting a dreamlike party. The birth of surrealism has an indispensable relationship with Dadaism. The bar also extends this relationship to the dining table. Two surrealist artists with different styles are specially selected for inspiration, and their famous artworks are fused with ingredients. Available from 14 March 2023, guests can release their subconscious mind freely under a little drunkenness, experience the paranoid critique of the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí and unravel the mysteries of the daily life of the Belgian painter René Magritte.
