Inspired by the Japanese tradition of omakase, “Chinese Omakase by Masterchefs” is a tasting programme that gives 18 Chinese Master Chefs the chance to craft menus using the best and freshest seasonal specialities available on hand. Thirteen high-profile Chinese restaurants of prestigious hotels and five elegant contemporary Chinese eateries will be participating with specially curated omakase menus showcasing the Master Chefs’ authentic recipes and cooking techniques for top-notch culinary experiences. Seasonal ingredients of choice served under innovative themes such as “Five Elements,” “Taste of Man Wah,” “Mott 32 Omakase Gourmet Journey”, “From Freshness。 To Finesse” and “Crystal Lotus Gastronomy” will offer fabulous dining experiences for customers.
On 1-30 November 2021, “Chinese Omakase by Masterchefs” will offer menus of six or eight courses, with prices ranging from around $1,000 – $3,000 per head. Some restaurants will also offer wine-pairing options to perfect the meals.
