Alice Pizza
Alice Pizza, the celebrated leader in Roman teglia pizza and named among the Top Pizzerias in Italy 2023 by esteemed rating platform Gambero Rosso, brings its rectangular, pan-baked recipe to Hong Kong in early September, in buzzing Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. True to Rome’s heritage of deliciously thin, light and crispy pizza sold ‘al taglio’ (by the cut), most of the ingredients used are imported from Italy for the brand’s first franchise in Asia.
Unveiled in Hong Kong by prime brand distributor and pioneers of luxury Bluebell Group, Alice Pizza is a master of Roman pan (teglia) pizza, which goes into the oven in large rectangular baking tins and emerges within 10 minutes to be served ‘al taglio’ – cut into pieces and sold by weight. It has sold 7 million kg of pizza since opening in 1989, and through its artisanal excellence and entrepreneurial ingenuity became Italy’s first pizza chain.
Three On Canton
From 1 September, guests can indulge in a wide array of Japanese delicacies at Three On Canton’s dinner buffet. The buffet promises a resplendent dining experience for all guests and features everything from extravagant seafood offerings, delectable sashimi, sushi, ramen and other Japanese dishes to a bountiful selection of desserts.
Buffet guests can indulge in a sumptuous array of chilled seafood items, including freshly shucked oysters, mussels, jade whelks, lobsters, snow crab legs, crayfish and prawns served on a rotational basis. Guests can also enjoy appetisers and salads, including abalone isyaki, cold noodles with eel and agedashi tofu.

Cucina, a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star authentic Italian Restaurant located within Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, is thrilled to announce the arrival of Michelin-starred chef Piergiorgio Siviero and commis de cuisine Bizzo Laura. From 16 to 20 August, the duo will bring a unique blend of tradition and innovation to Cucina with dishes that showcase a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel is delighted to welcome Piergiorgio and his team to Cucina to provide guests with an unforgettable dining experience.
Piergiorgio started his culinary career back in 1999. He worked at several prestigious institutions, including the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz and the Grand Hotel et de Milan in Milan. His work with Aimo Moroni at the Michelin two-starred Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia in Milan as well as with renowned celebrity chef Alain Ducasse at the Michelin
three-starred Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo marked significant milestones in his culinary adventure and pushed him towards new experiences. Piergiorgio is now the owner of the Lazzaro 1915, a Michelin-starred restaurant since 2012, where he focuses on sustainability and locally sourced produce.
Casa Cucina
Located in the heart of Sai Ying Pun, Casa Cucina beckons friends, and colleagues to come together for a brand new Happy Hour of drinks and light bites, launching on 21 August.
Wind down in a comfortable space from 5pm to 7pm on weekdays, where customers can enjoy two drinks for just HK$98. Offered are a selection of beverages, including red, white, and sparkling wines, classic spirits and ice cold pints of Stella Artois. And for an authentic touch of Italian flair, the summer-perfect Aperol Spritz is also offered.
Guests can also indulge in an array of small plates and sweets including Tomato & Pesto Crostini (HK$68), Burrata (HK$115) and the signature Tofu Panna Cotta (HK$58). As the sun sets, the true magic lies in the shared moments of joy and camaraderie in the bright and open space.
