The holidays are coming up, which calls for a little bit of rest and relax, as well as a celebration! One of the most iconic images of our city is the skyline, and the best place to capture the shot — you know the one — is from sky100 Observation Deck, located in the ICC, the tallest building in Hong KongA visit to sky100 is a trip in itself. Situated conveniently above Kowloon MTR Station, you can soar to the 100th floor in just 60 seconds with the fastest double-deck elevator in the city. Once you arrive at sky100, you can experience 360-degree panoramic day and night views of the city and its famous Victoria Harbour from this harbourfront vantage point 393 metres above sea level.
The unforgettable view from sky100 blesses visitors with a new angle to look at Hong Kong. New buildings and attractions that have only been built in the past few years, like the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Xiqu Centre, give us a new perspective of Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, you’ll find the “Hong Kong bird’s eye view of the sunken model” on the 100th floor. Walk above the transparent glass floor showcasing the Victoria Harbour landform in all its glory. If you visit during the evening, you can also view the “Love is in the Sky” Light Show, a tailor-made programme with dreamlike 3D images and unique projection technology that enhances the sky100 skyline background every 6:30pm. Following this at 8pm, “A Symphony of Lights 幻彩詠香江” can be observed from the east area — a dazzling show that will leave you feeling in awe.
Those who can’t get enough of the Hong Kong skyline or simply want to snap more photos, there’s good news. sky100 has prepared a dedicated photo corner with a backdrop of a pastel sunset and fluffy clouds, reminiscent of the sunset in the city. If you’re not confident with your camera skills, the photo corner has a professional photographer ready to help.
