What inspired you to start working as a singer, songwriter and vocal coach in Singapore?

I’ve been passionate about singing and music since my youth. I attended an arts high school and later pursued my undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Singing and performing have always been my passions, and I never really saw myself doing anything else. I began vocal coaching as a part-time job before college, and over time, I grew to love teaching. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a friend and I launched an online music school upon my return to Singapore. However, our visions for the school diverged, so we parted ways. I plan to start a new music school within the next year, which I’m really looking forward to.

Are there any goals you are planning to reach in 2024?

My aim for 2024 is to continue growing and learning, with the ultimate goal of creating a more thriving and supportive ecosystem for music and music education in Singapore.

How do you make yourself happy and Ritzy in life?

Apart from work, I engage in various hobbies like sports and content creation. I enjoy making people laugh, teaching others what I’ve learned, and staying active. I’m grateful for the opportunity to do what I love for a living, which brings me great joy.
