Central Market

Central Market ushers in the Year of the Horse with a whimsical twist through its “A Golden Year with Luck” celebration. Departing from traditional red hues, the heritage hub is decked in dreamy pastels and graced by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story duo—Bullseye and Buttercup—bringing playful charm to the festivities. Blending the spirit of Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, the event features a five-meter heart-shaped wishing tree, pastel pinwheel displays, curated markets, hands-on workshops, and art exhibitions. Paired with The Forest Bakery’s exclusive pop-up, the celebration promises a season of renewal, romance, and prosperity in the heart of Hong Kong.
ifc mall

This Lunar New Year, Hong Kong ifc mall collaborates with renowned Brazilian artist Naíma Almeida to present her debut Hong Kong installation, “A Thousand Birds toward the Phoenix.” From February 5 to March 3, the mall’s atrium transforms into a soaring scene of renewal and prosperity, where a majestic four-metre phoenix rises amid hundreds of vivid, geometric birds in flight. Blending the auspicious Chinese motif of “Bai Niao Chao Feng” with contemporary artistry, Almeida crafts a dynamic, immersive visual experience. Visitors can also create bespoke festive stickers and collect limited “Fortune Bird” red packets, celebrating unity, blessings, and new beginnings.
Pacific Place and Starstreet Precinct

Pacific Place and Starstreet Precinct celebrate the Year of the Horse with Whimsical Gallop, a poetic showcase of artistry, vitality, and elegance. From 5 February to 3 March, the destinations bloom into a serene pink garden alive with handcrafted blessings and majestic horses — including a 3.5‑metre centerpiece exquisitely adorned by local embroidery artisans YLYstudio. Each horse, uniquely embellished with motifs such as feathers, pomegranates, and ladybirds, embodies luck, hope, and renewal. The celebrations extend to bespoke Lai See packets, tap dance performances, and festive shopping privileges, inviting visitors into an enchanting journey where craftsmanship meets Lunar New Year joy.
