Disney+, the highly anticipated streaming service went live in Hong Kong

Disney+ launched across Hong Kong, delivering an unparalleled library of entertainment content from six iconic brands – Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic and Star. To celebrate this occasion, a 30-minute show themed “Disney+ Hong Kong Launch Celebration” premiered with superstars Ronald Cheng and Kay Tse as they make their debut performance together at Hong Kong Disneyland, bringing a melody of beloved Disney classics to everyone.

Available today for just HK$73 a month or HK$738 a year, subscribers will have access to an incredible library of more than 1,200 films and 16,000 episodes of content anytime, anywhere on a wide selection of mobile and connected TV devices. Disney+ supports smartphones and tablets (Android or iOS,) gaming consoles (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S,) smart TVs and connected TV devices (Google TV and other Android TV OS, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, Chromecast, Hisense TVs with the latest firmware, LG TVs, Panasonic 4K TVs with My Home Screen OS, and Samsung Tizen models from 2016 on).

From today, Disney+ audiences in Hong Kong can enjoy an unforgettable array of amazing storytelling, including Marvel Studios’ latest blockbusters “Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings;” “Free Guy” and Disney’s “Jungle Cruise;” the hilarious Disney+ Originals “Home Sweet Home Alone” – which sees the reimagining of the beloved holiday film franchise, “Olaf Presents,” “Ciao Alberto,” “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” and “Star Wars: Visions.” Also not to be missed are Star Originals including “Big Sky,” and “Dopesick.” Hot on their heels are a number of exciting upcoming launches including Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye,” set for release on November 24, National Geographic’s “Welcome to Earth” on December 8, and the Disney+ Original “The Book of Boba Fett” to be released on December 29.
