Dolce&Gabbana Beauty captures the spontaneity and playful passion of the iconic Light Blue couple, David Gandy and Bianca Balti, with a new campaign for Light Blue Eau de Toilette that returns to the soaring cliffs and shimmering waters of Capri. The film follows the magnetic duo, holidaying on the magical island in the sun-drenched Mediterranean summer, and reveals a pure and profound new intimacy in their relationship. The original campaign celebrated the power of their attraction with a story of intense seduction and the first passionate days of a love affair. Now, their love has evolved and the new campaign shows a couple who know each other completely – a couple who laugh, play and argue, yet always with the same passionate spark that ignited their joyful love. Against the backdrop of the Faraglioni, and set to the familiar score of Parlami d’Amore Mariù, Director Steven Brahms shows us snatched and unexpected moments – mischievous, instinctive expressions of love, that give us intimate glimpses into a shared life of tenderness and eternal love.
Light Blue Italian Love Pour Femme
It is the work of master perfumer Olivier Cresp, the renowned nose who crafted the original Light Blue Eau de Toilette. The fragrance opens with Light Blue’s iconic top notes, an addictive duo of crisp Granny Smith apple and tangy Calabrian lemon, extracted using the traditional “sfumatrice” technique which allows the essence and the juice of the lemon to be recovered in its entirety. The heart of the scent blooms with a feminine bouquet of heady jasmine sambac and pure white rose, made more sensual by a new sweet, floral musky note of ambrette. This voluptuous heart slowly unfurls to a seductive base with a new woody addiction. The signature trail of Virginia cedarwood, entwined with warm amber and enveloping white musks, is given new texture with the addition of amyris essence, which brings a woody warmth. Seamlessly blending with hints of vetiver, this subtly balsamic, leathery note enhances the signature woody base with smooth facets of creamy sandalwood.

It reveals a new interpretation of masculine sensuality, crafted by perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu. Top notes of Italian bergamot and juicy frozen grapefruit – cold-pressed from the peel – create a fresh cocktail to open the fragrance, instantly transporting the senses to the iconic citrus groves of Capri. These sparkling citruses evolve to a new, intensely masculine heart, invigorating green notes combining with violet leaf and the fresh aquatic wave of the ozonic marine accord. Conjuring the intense azure of the Mediterranean waters, this heart is set against cashmere woods, which develop into a new sensual woody twist as the base unfolds. Earthy vetiver combines with musks and the heady, mysterious note of patchouli, while the full-bodied note of guaiac wood brings new depth and an intriguing sensuality.
