“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God!” (John 4:16). Yew Chung’s 90th Anniversary Thanksgiving Services was held at St. John’s Cathedral yesterday, with President Professor Allan Yuen, leadership team and over 400 guests gathered in the love of God. Agnes Shek, Hannah Cheng and Serena Lee from YCCECE and YCIS were chosen to the scripture reading service, celebrating and worshiping the God’s forever love — “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” Dr Betty Chan shared her counting blessing of the Lord’s grace and presence at every stage of education journey for over 9 decades.

Reverend Samuel Choy gave the final remarks — preparing ourselves to face the challenges ahead, let us extend a helping hand to those in need.

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles, and those who are thankful will continue to receive even greater blessings. May you bless us with your never-ending love.

Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong

In French this week, Year 5 students have started a new unit on the topic of ‘La famille et les amis’ (Family and friends). In their lesson this week, they introduced vocabulary related to their families and students used this in tandem with their previously acquired knowledge to be able to produce sentences to tell them who their families are comprised of. In the weeks to come, Year 5 will develop their skills further to describe themselves, their family members and friends.
