Learning lifesaving techniques and applying them in real life situations has been the focus for MCHK’s Foundation Year 2 pupils in their recent PHE unit. To make the learning experience even more authentic and enjoyable, Ms Powell added inflatable boats to the mix! Not only did this add an extra layer of excitement, it also added an element of team fun to swim team trainings!

Year 5 had an engaging week filled with excitement as NAIS sharpened their science and detective skills on CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) Day! Students collaborated in teams, applying scientific methods to solve a mystery at school. From chromatography to observation and fair tests, the school honed students’ skills and successfully uncovered the identity of the thief who had stolen Mr. Duncan’s sandwich!

CDNIS had held Dress Down Day at the last Friday of January! The theme was ‘twinning’ theme and their Lower School students enjoyed dressing alike while suporting a great cause – raising $11,440 for Plastic Free Seas.
