Presented in an elegant “moon gazing” concept design gift box in collaboration with the School of Design, Polytechnic University, they are the ideal gift for family and friends.
Early bird savings at HK$368 for traditional mooncake set and HK$498 for durian mooncake set are available for orders placed between today and 14 August 2022.Joining hands with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, the mooncakes are encased in an exquisite two-tiered designer gift box by year four students Chloe Wong and Vivian Yuen, together with their mentor, Mr. Clive Ng, faculty member at PolyU Design. “This packaging design is inspired by the imagery of moon grazing during the Mid-Autumn Festival: bright moon, mountains, and people. Few of them constitute the symbolic scene of the Mid-Autumn night” Chloe and Vivian said. “The design interprets the atmosphere in a modern tone, with simple and rounded lines giving a sense of relaxation and leisure, allowing people to take a break from their busy schedules and concentrate on the moment of full moon” they continued. The box carries a bright lime green colour with full moon and mountain patterns in silver foil printing effect, while the mooncakes implying blessings and togetherness, symbolizing prosperity and roundness, perfect for gifting.
