Nord Anglia School Hong Kong
As students return to school this fall, Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong welcomed new and returning families to its Early Years, Primary and Secondary campuses. Parents attended different events on all three campuses. As with previous editions, this year’s events allowed the staff and wider school community to foster connections, put faces to names, and get the school year off to a great start. ESF ISLAND SCHOOL
The week started with a welcome morning for Year 7 students and new students entering other years. The head students, student leaders and some teachers danced at lunchtime, while cupcakes were given out. The long awaited inter-House games day was held, with fun team building challenges.The teaching also started with teachers helping students to understand new routines and expectations.
Malvern College Kong
Malvern College Hong Kong has been delighted to welcome all of their new teachers, many of whom have relocated to join us from all over the globe in the new school year. They are thrilled to report that the Campus is also ready. The classrooms are filled with specially designed furniture; thousands of books have arrived for the library; the science labs are fully stocked with equipment and chemicals ready for experiments to begin; the visual art rooms have an array of paints and materials awaiting pupils to unleash their creativity and the Grub, with its stylish crockery and cutlery, is all set to serve a menu of delicious lunches from their professional on-site kitchens!
ICHK School
ICHK School were delighted to welcome the newest members of the ICHK community to school. Their new students completed an induction programme aimed at helping them to settle into school with confidence. In Year 7, students joined their new form groups and enjoyed a series of fun, team building activities. They proved to be good listeners and enthusiastic learners, and met with their tutors, their classmates, along with Head of Year and Transitions teacher Nelly Loi-Fong, who will be playing a key role in their Year 7 experience.
