Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong Raises Awareness of Breast Health & Launches #PINKTOGETHER

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers and the third leading cause of cancer deaths among females in Hong Kong.

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong launches the #PINKTOGETHER Campaign in October comprising of a pink crochet installation by Hong Kong’s first street weaving art team La Belle Époque, a partnership with L’Oreal Paris to reward in-house guests with gift products, and a special cake and coffee “Pink Combo”, created by The Farmhouse Deli.

In line with Hyatt Centric‘s brand essence of connecting guests with local communities and artists, the hotel has invited crochet artists Billie and Mary, founders of La Belle Époque, to create a pink crochet installation, which will be displayed in the hotel lobby (2/F) from 1 until 31 October 2022. Through the pink-inspired weaving works showcasing women of different ages, this collaboration aims to encourage breast cancer education and awareness, across different age groups.

As female artists, Mary and Billie are also great supporters of Pink Month. This cause is particularly close to Billie’s heart as her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away ten years ago. She has also become more aware of breast cancer prevention and related early medical treatments. Apart from the pink installation, guests are also invited to visit the hotel’s Art Centric corner on the lobby level (2/F) where four of Mary and Billie’s North Point art pieces will be exhibited.

In partnership with the long-established cosmetic brand L’Oreal Paris, guests who will be staying in the hotel in October will receive two complimentary full-size L’Oreal Paris products, from a range that includes the “Age Perfect Nectar Royal Replenishing Golden Supplement Eye Cream (15ml)”, “ElSEVE Extraordinary Oil Droplet Extra Brilliance (1ml x 6)”, “ BRILLIANT SIGNATURE Shine Lip Ink” or “Emotions Nude 16-Color Eye & Cheeks Blushing Palette” (Items will be handed out at random and limited to two items per guest room, available while stocks last.)

Created by the hotel’s talented head pastry chef Kevin Leung and head barista Wayne Tsang, each “Pink Combo” set of cake and coffee, priced at HK$88, will also be available for the whole month of October at The Farmhouse Deli.
