Six life-size tropical creatures—tapir, golden lion tamarins, crocodile, jaguar, sloth and toucans, all created by combining low-poly 3D modelling and origami—can be spotted in the mall, transporting you to a lush rainforest. Using an exclusive Instagram filter, visitors can also experience the ever-changing weather in the rainforest and take selfies with two hidden animals for a truly immersive rainforest experience. Come and discover them in the dense forest today!
Founded in 2011 by local papercraft artists Mic Leong and Soilworm Lai, Stickyline specialises in paper art and has created countless artworks such as installations, giant sculptures and stage productions using folding and layering techniques. Now, in collaboration with ifc mall, Stickyline has created six types of rare tropical animals in a breath-taking tropical rainforest installation: a tapir and two golden lion tamarins, both of which are endangered species, a crocodile and a jaguar measuring over two metres in length, a sloth that will win everyone’s heart, and two gorgeous toucans. Created using folding, layering and joining techniques as well as a clever combination of different paper, these sculptures are aesthetic representations of the animals.

In addition to its eye-catching rainforest installation and animal sculptures, ifc mall has also launched a limited-time Instagram filter that enables visitors to experience the rainforest’s vibrant sunsets and perennial drizzle. You can even spot two hidden creatures for Instagrammable photos. Which two animals are they? Use the filter now to check them out!
