The P6 PYP Exhibition at JIS showcased students’ independent inquiry into global issues, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Weeks of preparation highlighted the school’s core value of “commitment,” as students refined their presentations with eloquence and passion. German Swiss International School proudly celebrated the graduation of seven Klasse 12 students from the German International Stream. This close-knit group successfully completed the rigorous Abitur programme, achieving an impressive average score of 1.79, with one student earning a perfect 1.0. Their achievement highlights intellectual curiosity, perseverance, and mutual support. AISHK hosted Chinese Week, immersing students in language and culture through diverse activities. Highlights included a Lion Dance, Chinese Shopping Day with practical vocabulary use, lacquer fan painting, calligraphy, and pitch-pot games. Secondary students performed songs and plays about Hong Kong, culminating in a sing-along of a classic Beyond track. The festivities continue with Chinese Traditional Clothing Day, where students will wear qipao, kung fu outfits, and other attire inspired by tradition, celebrating cultural pride and learning.
