Uncle Fong Hot Pot

“Uncle Fong Chongqing Hotpot” is currently the most widely established Chongqing hotpot brand in Hong Kong, with branches spanning Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Its flagship store in Causeway Bay has recently reopened with a brand-new look. Since its fiery debut in 2016, “Uncle Fong Chongqing Hotpot” has left a lasting impression on local hotpot enthusiasts, earning their love after just one taste.

This year marks the 8th anniversary of “Uncle Fong Chongqing Hotpot.” Founder Uncle Fong reflects on the journey over the past eight years and shares the principles he has steadfastly upheld: no artificial flavorings and in-house crafted butter broth. To celebrate this milestone, Uncle Fong has introduced measures such as waiving the 10% service charge and reducing prices for most menu items, continuing to thank customers with high-quality dishes and exceptional service.

Hong Kong’s drinking culture is largely dominated by beer and fried snacks, which can feel monotonous and uninspiring. In the fast-paced urban lifestyle, many people are seeking unique experiences that allow them to enjoy fine drinks and cuisine while completely relaxing their minds and bodies. However, amidst the pressures of daily life, finding a tasting environment that satisfies both the palate and provides stress relief isn’t easy.

Recognizing this need, the popular Taiwanese snack brand Man Xiang Nong and the local hidden whiskey bar A Perfect Escape (A.P.E) have joined forces to launch a limited-edition Whisky Pairing Braised Snacks masterclass and menu. This collaboration combines classic Tainan-style braised delicacies with carefully selected whiskeys, infusing Hong Kong’s drinking culture with a fresh blend of East meets West. It offers food and whiskey lovers an entirely new and innovative taste experience.
