This week we chatted with Ankie Beilke, born and raised in Düsseldorf Germany, who has multi-identities such as model, actress, mum, and yoga enthusiast. She shared with us how to be a have-it-all girl and stay healthy and energetic every day. Moreover, she also shares her secret beauty tips and gives us a glimpse of her latest movie – Rouge Trader.
1. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
My acting career started at the age of 6, acting as the daughter of my mother on a German TV show. Later after graduating from high school in Germany, I moved to NYC to attend Lee Strasberg Theatre and Fashion Institute Of Technology to major in Fine Arts, during that time I also got my certification as a makeup artist and also started my yoga journey.
2. How do you balance your work and family life?
Lately, my acting has been put on hold due to the pandemic. My last movie Rouge Trader, I shot a year ago in Munich, which just finished in post-production, I am the only female character in the movie, plus I play a cleaning lady. The reason why this script had an impact on me was simply that it was very well written and I don’t get a chance to play these types of characters. The movie is about the corrupt banking industry, I play the narrator (cleaning lady) who knows it all. We are all very excited about it being shown in Europe soon.
Currently, I am teaching a lot of yoga, also attending some cooking shows, TVB shows, Modeling jobs etc. So there is a balance, because I have more time to spend with my family!!
3. What is your daily beauty routine?
I eat as clean as possible (salads, fruits). I love to cook so knowing what I am eating is very important to me! Beautiful skin comes from within…so I am trying my best to drink a lot of good filtered water! Plus, I practice a lot of yoga! Sweating, vitamin D, and moving is the key to glowing skin.
4. How do you make yourself happy and ritzy in life?
Keep the friends around you that bring joy to your life!!! Spending time with my family and staying fit!!
5. What does your typical day look like?
It is different everyday, which brings joy to my life as well!
6. Could you share the most memorable moment of you and your family🥰?
The one we love to do every year is this time of the year when we get our Christmas tree and decorate it together! It’s one of our favourite times of the year!
