Did we spend enough time with our loved ones? The most important thing is to be grateful for every little thing and celebrate the brand new year ahead. We have shortlisted a few restaurants for you to have the perfect farewell to 2021.

Blue & Gold Party at aqua, H Zentre

Aqua celebrates the first New Year’s Eve at their stylish new home at H Zentre, Tsim Sha Tsui, and is making sure 2021 ends with a bang with an electrifying Blue & Gold Extravaganza New Year’s Eve Party. Sashay down aqua’s dazzling mirrored catwalk, step into the glamorous dining room and explore aqua’s outdoor terraces with stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong. Dance and drink your way into 2022 with free-flow Veuve Clicquot Champagne, cocktails, and live DJ performances. Tickets are available on Eventbrite from now until 30th December priced at HK$988 per person and include free-flow Champagne, cocktails, beer, and soft drinks from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am. A Night at Studio 54 with Authentic French Cuisine at LPM

LPM Restaurant & Bar, is presenting fabulous French-Mediterranean dishes and ingenious cocktails for New Year’s Eve that is as elegant and vibrant as the restaurant itself. A delicious celebratory time is assured for all guests, complemented by the restaurant’s convivial ambiance, which will be amped to a glittering groovy level on New Year’s Eve. Special dishes for this festive season include Scallop Tartare (HK$328),  Grilled Pink Seabream (HK$498), Grilled “Black Onyx” Sirloin Steak (HK$598), and more. On New Year’s Eve, the iconic restaurant will be transformed into a stylised interpretation of the world-famous nightclub, Studio 54. Get ready to boogie into the new year underneath a mirror ball, dressed in your finest disco-chic-with hattitude attire, with a DJ spinning disco classics from 8 pm to midnight.

For dinner on the 31st of December, there will be three options: 6pm-8pm and 6.30pm-8.30pm with no minimum spend, and a late seating from 8pm onwards with a minimum spend of HK$1,800 per person (plus 10%) regardless of group size.

Popinjay by the Murray

Dinners are invited to ring in the New Year with an evening of indulgence on 31 December at Popinjays with a five-course meal for HKD 1,588 per adult and HKD 794 per child. Presenting deluxe creations such as Lobster and Chestnut Velouté, Seared Atlantic Seabass and Wagyu Beef with Celeriac and Wild Mushrooms, the expertly crafted menu affords diners a luxurious finale to the year. Those looking to embark on year 2022 with a night of rivalry and a line-up of live DJ performances should not miss the Countdown Party at Popinjays from 8 p.m. until late, at HKD 1,488 per adult including a glass of champagne, unlimited soft drinks and canapés. Guests dining or staying at The Murray on 31 December evening can enjoy a special rate of HKD 688 and HKD 258 per adult respectively, including a glass of champagne and unlimited soft drinks.

The Apres-Ski Bar by Café Claudel

Café Claudel has teamed with Bollinger Champagne this New Year and invites you to escape to the city and head to the Alpes for an immersive Après – Ski experience. The terrace will be transformed into a wintery Alpine spectacular with a fully cladded wooden bar and ski slope signage. Guests can wrap up in cozy fleece blankets and relax on sheepskin throws and comfy Bollinger cushions. Festive decorative foliage with wintery lighting to match offers a place of rest after a long day, Apres-ski style! The bar will be serving Bollinger ‘Bolly’ Champagne by the glass & bottle, as well as bespoke designed winter cocktails with a familiar après theme including The Fairweather Skier Bellini ($188), The Red Runner Negroni ($90), The Mogul Master Bloody Mary especially designed for New Year’s Day, and the Afternoon Sauna Sort Hot Toddy ($90) for that hug in a mug under a rug.
