Ritzy Book Club: Matcha Moon

by Ella

Social enterprise Cookie Smiles is celebrating its very first book launch – a children’s book titled Matcha Moon. We reviewed it in our very first Ritzy Book Club.

Riding on the success of the “H is for Holiday Giving” H cookies, homegrown social enterprise Cookie Smiles and leading property developer hendersonlandhk are delighted to continue their collaboration with a new Matcha flavoured co-branded cookie ‘Matcha Moon’ to spread happiness. Snackboxes will be offered to customers who purchase 5 packs of the new Matcha Moon cookies to encourage a sustainable lifestyle.

What is the book about?

Matcha Moon is a children’s storybook featuring a homegrown tale about three cookie lovers – a pair of siblings and their friend – who begin a mission to expand their cooking skills and help the less fortunate along the way.

A fun, cookie-filled adventure set in Hong Kong, readers will enjoy the heartwarming story of Ying Ying, Ming and Molly as they travel around our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. Children will be delighted by the bright watercolour illustrations and exciting writing.

The book aims to educate, encourage and empower socially responsible kids to get involved in giving back to the community.
