Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong recently hosted a dinner and ‘fireside chat’ with representatives from four esteemed UK boarding schools: Benenden, Marlborough, Dulwich, and Harrow. The event was held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, a top venue generously provided by our parent community member, Bosco Law.
The panel of school representatives and the headmaster shared insights on their institutions’ unique offerings and the types of students who would thrive there, providing valuable guidance to our parents. The event concluded with a fireside chat where the representatives shared entertaining anecdotes and interesting stories about the histories of their schools!

Malvern College Hong Kong are proud of our U12A Football Team who finished as 1st runners up in ISSFHK U12 Div 1 after a close play-off loss to DBIS. They reached the final after a thrilling 4-3 comeback win against ASHK, which saw Karl equalise and Greyson score the winning goal. Despite a challenging 1-0 loss in the final, the boys stuck to their game plan and executed it well.

Dressing up into different characters, students had an amazing role-playing experience on the stage, bringing their confidence to the next level. They felt so excited conducting a variety of science experiments and tried things out in different ways and sorted out the answers by themselves with growing passion and curiosity.

Chinese Week 2024. The school community came together to create an immersive environment that promotes learning and provides opportunities to explore the rich facets of Chinese culture and language. Students enjoyed a diverse range of engaging activities, including a Lion Dance performance, Puppet Show, a Chinese movie screening, a Fun Fair, and assemblies. The assemblies concluded with dragon dances and a rendition of the song ‘True Heroes’, which beautifully expressed the idea that true heroes are found among ordinary people.

Singapore International School is excited to announce that Singapore Holiday Immersion Programme (SHIP) 2024 has successfully wrapped up from 2 to 12 July 2024. Students had a fantastic time experiencing the vibrant and diverse school life in Singapore.
Thanks to the support from the Ministry of Education, Singapore, students can:
-Embraced the unique and diverse Singapore education system,
-Explored the rich cultural heritage and bustling city life of Singapore,
-Made lasting friendships with students from different backgrounds and ethnicities.
They have returned with valuable experiences and stories that will inspire the community!
The ISF Academy
The 2024 Hong Kong Youth Open Wushu Championship recently concluded with great success. While many of ISF’s representatives were competing for the first time, they still delivered outstanding performances and achieved impressive results.
In the team events, the ISF Wushu team clinched five championships, two silver medals, and eight bronze medals and merit awards. They were also awarded the top prize for the highest overall team score, as well as the Promotion Award for their collective and individual achievements.
The individual events were equally stellar. Marco Choi, a Grade 4 student, emerged victorious in both the Southern Fist and Cudgel Play categories, and secured a third-place finish in the all-around competition among 90 competitors. Brandon Lo, a Grade 1 student, also shone brightly, winning the runner-up spot in an event against 50 participants.
Let’s all rally behind the ISF Wushu team and encourage them to continue showcasing their exceptional skills in future competitions!

Congratulations to Leon Noel from Class 5C on his outstanding performance at the Grand Opus International Piano Competition.
Leon was awarded the championship in Hong Kong and earned the honour of representing Hong Kong to attend the final competition in Vietnam. He showcased his exceptional talent by playing Beethoven’s “Für Elise” with an orchestra, demonstrating his skill and musicality. His hard work and dedication paid off as he received an impressive 2nd place in the final competition held in Vietnam.
