Christmas is right around the corner! A festive holiday spirit spills, where halls are decked, trees are trimmed and tables are set to celebrate the season. Ritzy Team shortlisted a few Must-See Christmas Attractions in Hong Kong, we hope everyone can celebrate the festive season under the new normal and spread joy around the world.

Harbour City, Christmas Cookies Terminal

In line with this year’s decorative theme of “Christmas Terminal”, Ocean Terminal Forecourt will be transformed into a “Christmas Cookies Terminal” welcoming everyone aboard their festive journey. The main character “Cookie Penguin” is also ready to board, but his suitcase has accidentally opened, dropping sweet cookies everywhere. He needs a helping hand from other visitors.

The Christmas decorations will be installed at Ocean Terminal Forecourt towards Star Ferry Pier and alongside the harbour front to ensure space for pedestrian travel. Due to COVID regulations, the installation is mainly designed for photo-taking to minimize physical contact. To enhance the on-site experience, professional photographers will be arranged during specific time periods and an interactive mobile App game will be launched as well. Meanwhile, Harbour City will continue to follow the latest COVID-prevention instructions from the government, and clean and sanitize the Christmas displays regularly and remind visitors to keep their social distancing.

Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre, Disney LED Wall

Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre will lead the celebrations on 11 November with the lighting of their Christmas LED wall. The 4,000-square-meter multimedia wall features 82,000 colour-changing LED bulbs, and will include a stunning animation featuring six iconic Disney+ brands for all to enjoy!

Disney+ will also be celebrated on Mody Lane – one of the city’s most iconic photo spots, thanks to its memorable and Instagrammable Christmas decorations. This year, guests can enjoy a unique Disney twist, with Christmas lights set to feature characters from four iconic brands from Disney+, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. These unique decorations can be found on the facades of Empire Centre, China Hong Kong City and Sino Plaza.
