Sen-ryo Meticulously Curated the “Kyushu Seasonal Menu” Featuring Japanese Delicacies

Even after 17 years, sen-ryo still possesses an unparalleled attention to quality and is always on the lookout for the freshest ingredients. Under exquisite craftsmanship, these ingredients are then meticulously crafted into gourmet dishes by best-in-class sushi chefs. This autumn, sen-ryo is opening its newest branch in apm, Kwun Tong, on the 15th, which includes a traditional Kagami Biraki ceremony. Aside from this, sen-ryo will also be launching the “Kyushu Seasonal Menu” in all 13 branches, in which customers can get a taste of fresh fish directly imported from Kyushu, allowing them to feel that they’ve been transported to Japan.

A New Branch in Kwun Tong Carrying on the Shokunin Spirit

The new branch sits in apm, the heart of Kwun Tong, in proximity to the MTR station, various restaurants and the commerce and trade districts. Thus, it offers a high-quality dining option for officer-goers and sushi connoisseurs alike. The restaurant has a total area of 2,200 square feet and can fit 80 costumers at a time. senryo apm adapted the art of Japanese Touji into different spatial experience. The reinterpretaion of horizontal glazed handmade ceramic roof tile into a dynamic vertical appreciation creates a welcoming connection between outside and inside the restaurant. Different sizes and surfaces of ceramic such as coarse surface pendant light against a smooth surface handmade mosaic tile allows us to experience the tactility of ceramic nature and character. Such spatial experience synchronised with Senryo Hajime (一)notion of return to basic and enjoy the original nature and character of natural resources. Under the warm lights and soothing ambience, customers can enjoy their meals in comfort – a treat for the senses and the perfect recipe for a gourmet journey.

A Taste of Kyushu’s Best-of-the-Best Delicacies

Kyushu, the third largest island in Japan, spans across the provinces of Fukuoka, Oita, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Saga and so on. Each province is known for their unique seafood specialties, which can be elevated into gourmet delicacies. This time, sen-ryo is launching the “Kyushu Seasonal Menu”, presenting the distinctive flavors of Kyushu through these dishes – namely the Whole Bungo-Aji 3 Ways (Oita), Yobuko Squid Sashimi (Saga), Greater Amberjack Sashimi (Kagoshima), Greater Amberjack Sushi (Kagoshima), and Seared A5 Waygu Sushi (Kagoshima).
