Where to eat hairy crab this Autumn

When autumn comes to mind, most might think of the slight breeze that comes with the seasons changing. But there’s another thing that’s synonymous with Hong Kong’s autumns – hairy crabs. While some may choose to order and prepare them in the comfort of home, others prefer settling down at one of city’s finest restaurants and fully indulge. Here’s a list of the best places across Hong Kong for you to feast away on hairy crabs this autumn.

 

Dao Cheng Taiwanese Restaurant

Located at V Point of Causeway Bay and K11 Art Mall, Dao Cheng Taiwanese Restaurant dress up with gorgeous retro. Their  signature cocktails are specially designed to accompany dishes and use authentic Taiwanese ingredients, including tea, rice water, guava, and dark plum. Head out to their V Point shop and enjoy a hairy crab feast and drunk under the lamp Taiwan-themed special bartending. The feast (HK$588 per person) includes the original steamed Jiangsu Hairy Crab (from 5 Taels), thickened broth with assorted seafood and cabbage in fish broth with Hairy Crab and Roe etc.  Available from 16th October, 2023 to 30th November, 2023, one day booking in advance.

A series of delicious crab delicacies, showing on the table and you can pair it with Chinese-style cocktails and wine at V-Point shop. A-la-carte menu at both shops includes, baked mochi cake with Hairy Crabmeat and Roe, sticky rice topped with minced pork, Hairy Crabmeat and Roe, as well as Hairy Crabmeat and Roe with eggwhite and conpoy.

VIP rooms are available at Dao Cheng for guests’ parties. There are also lunch, dinner set, business set, afternoon tea, and happy hour for gourmets. Equipped with complete audio equipment and provide private service, suitable for all kinds of dinner and social activities.
