Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong’s Secondary students at Shamba Kipara camp are immersed in an incredible experience. Since arriving, they’ve savoured every moment: a warm welcome, celebrating a birthday with traditional dance and cake, and waking up to breathtaking views of sunrise and Mount Meru. Each group has been active: one on safari, another installing solar lighting and helping a local family, and the third team working at Dolly Primary School. Amidst the busy day, a joyful football game with over 100 children brought smiles all around. After such lively days, evenings by the pool and early bedtimes have everyone rejuvenated for more adventures.

The school understands that sometimes it is hard to see mammals in real life so that they teach students how to identify them from the animal tracks they leave behind – especially when it’s muddy! They learnt to identify the animal tracks for wild boar, leopard cats, muntjac deer, pangolins, squirrels and birds.
